With the DS-1001, no task is too demanding. Featuring the power of Intel Haswell desktop processing with support for up to a quad-core i7, this small computer features big power. All of this muscle is combined with the Q87 chipset, which offers support for advanced features including Intel vPro and virtualization technology, and can accommodate up to 16 GB of RAM. The DS-1001 is also available with optional 4G LTE connectivity, enabling remote network access or failover protection.

Keep going no matter the environment. The DS-1001 is designed to withstand harsh environmental conditions and operate effectively in locations where commercial desktops fear to tread. Encased in a hardened, fully fanless and ventless enclosure, the DS-1001 is protected from dust and dirt, and features an operating temperature range of -10°C to 60°C to ensure non-stop reliability. The cable-less design provides further protection against shock and vibration and maximizes system reliability and uptime by eliminating the worries of cable abrasion or loose connections.
CLASS-LEADING I/O
Featuring I/O to handle any task, the DS-1001 is equipped with 8 USB ports (including 4 USB 3.0 ports), as well as two DisplayPort connectors and DVI-I which enable triple independent HD displays. The I/O compliment was selected with industrial applications in mind, with two Gb LAN ports and 6 RS-232/422/485 COM ports. A 2.5″ hot-swap HDD bay and CFast slot are also onboard along with a SIM card slot and removable CMOS battery. All of these features, combined with an expansion bay with support for PCI or PCIe cards, make the DS-1001 one of the most versatile rugged computers available.
