No task is too demanding for the DS-1000 series. With Intel Haswell desktop processing at its heart, the DS-1002 provides unprecedented performance for a compact, ruggedized system. Supporting processors including Intel’s quad-core i7, all of this power is harnessed by the Q87 chipset, which offers support for advanced features including Intel vPro and virtualization technology, and can accommodate up to 16 GB of RAM. The DS-1002 is also available with optional 4G LTE connectivity, enabling remote network access or failover protection.

No environment is too harsh for this PC. The DS-1002 is designed to withstand the rigors of today’s toughest industrial applications, thriving in locations where commercial desktops fail. Encased in a rugged, fully fanless and ventless enclosure, the DS-1002 is shielded from dirt and debris, and features an operating temperature range of -10°C to 60°C. Through cable-less design, this system maximizes resistance to shock and vibration, ensuring optimal uptime.
I/O FOR ALL
I/O is a huge strength for the DS-1002, which comes equipped with 8 USB ports (including 4 USB 3.0 ports), as well as two DisplayPort connectors and DVI-I which enable triple independent HD displays. Industrial clients will welcome the two Gb LAN ports and 6 RS-232/422/485 COM ports. A 2.5″ hot-swap HDD bay and CFast slot are also included, along with a SIM card slot and removable CMOS battery. All of these features, combined with dual expansion bays with support for PCI or PCIe cards, make the DS-1002 highly customizable to fit nearly any application.
