NVIDIA Quadro P4000 GPU

Part Number: P4000

Built with Pascal GPU technology, the NVIDIA Quadro P4000 combines 1792 CUDA cores and 8GB of GDDR5 memory. With the ability to connect multiple high-resolution displays makes the P4000 graphics card a good fit for professionals working with demanding applications that may require multiple monitors to visualize the data.

Description
The Quadro P4000 offers visual computing performance in a single slot form factor. The P4000 is packed with more CUDA cores than its predecessors and features Maxwell architecture. Outfitted with scalable link interface (SLI), this card can leverage multiple GPUs to scale graphics efficiently, enhance image quality, and support 5K resolution.

Performance
NVIDIA Pascal architecture on the P4000 features 1792 shading units, 112 texture mapping units, 64 ROPs, 8GB of GDDR5 memory, and 5.3 TFLOPS of single-precision compute. With 7.2 million transistors, the card is designed with the performance that’s necessary for immersive virtual reality creators. The NVIDIA P4000 also features a 105W TDP and a 6-pin PCIe power connector.

Memory
NVIDIA has paired 8GB of GDDR5 memory with a 256-bit memory interface and up to 243GB/s bandwidth. Professionals can take advantage of the card’s support for NVIDIA’s Quadro Sync II module and memory running at 1901 MHz. The NVIDIA Quadro P4000 also allows up to four 5K displays at 60Hz on a single card. Users can configure up to 32 displays at 4K by connecting multiple GPUs through the Quadro Sync II feature. This is a great option for organizations that use multiple monitor displays.

Features
This graphics card is designed to enhance image quality and take on large workloads. The Quadro P4000 has a relatively short printed circuit board (PCB), and a thin plate on which components are placed. Nevertheless, it is a bit longer than the P2000 and has a cooler that extends on the overall length of the card with a fan on the opposite side of the ports. Along the top of the P4000 are SLI connectors, as well as stereo and sync ports. These are not found on the Nvidia Quadro P2000 GPU.
