With Arbitrated Local Switching, the 48-port 8-Gbps Advanced module delivers full-duplex aggregate performance of 768 Gbps across locally switched ports on the module. Arbitrated Local Switching on the 48-port 8-Gbps Advanced Fibre Channel module is well suited for deployment of dense virtual machine clusters with locally mapped storage.
