NVIDIA Quadro K4200 GPU

Part Number: K4200

The single-slot NVIDIA Quadro K4200 GPU offers improved performance and flexibility when it comes to multiple displays. This graphics card features 1,344 CUDA parallel-processing cores and 4GB of GDDR5 memory. This card is good for creating and rendering large, complex models, including 3D renderings.

Description
Powered by Kepler architecture paired with texture mapping units, the Quadro K4200 supports professional workstations. With a 108W max power consumption, the card supports up to 4GB of memory and more CUDA cores than its predecessors to deliver new levels of performance.

Performance
Based on a 28nm manufacturing process, the Quadro K4200 doubles its floating point performance to 2.1 TFLOPS compared to its predecessor. 3,540 million transistors enable the 1,344 CUDA cores to provide extra capabilities supported by 112 texture mapping units and 32 ROPs. The graphics processing unit also uses the same chip found on the K5000, all while drawing a maximum of 108W of power.

Memory
There’s Maxwell and Pascal architecture, but this one sports Kepler architecture with ultra-fast bandwidth. NVIDIA pairs 4GB of GDDR5 memory on the K4200 with a 256-bit memory interface. The GPU operates at 771 MHz, which can be boosted up to 784 MHz. Memory bandwidth runs at 173GB/s at 1350 MHz.

Features
The NVIDIA K4200 GPU supports multiple displays with the Quadro Sync board to drive up to four displays with ultra-high resolutions at 3840 x 2160 @60Hz with 30-bit color. An integrated fan and vents on the front side provide consistent airflow to reduce heat buildup. On the edge of the card, there are 2x DisplayPorts and a single DVI connector all powered by a 6-pin power connector.
